Jelly Babies
Do you eat their arms and legs first or go in straight for the kill and bite them in half. Its rather odd and vicious to think of Jelly babies in that manner.
Jelly babies were first made in our own Lancashire in 1804 and were supposed to be jelly bears. They came out looking more like babies than bears and then were renamed to unclaimed babies... A little twisted if you ask us! But then again this was the Victorian times!
Our jelly babies are the perfect amount of chewy, gummy, juicy and full of fruity flavour. Delicious, however strange it seems to say that about a baby! Do you have a colour you prefer? A recent poll suggests that purple are the most popular but we disagree. What do you think?
If you want to take a look at other jelly sweets like our jelly babies, then take a look at our cola bottles and dusted milk bottles and fruit pastilles!
